Frequently asked questions
Everything parents ask us about programmes, the free profile, safety and the Learn Zone.
About the programmes
What ages do you teach?
Children aged 8–16, in three bands: Explorer (8–10), Builder (11–13) and Studio (14–16). Each band has its own depth, language and projects.
Is this a coding class?
Not mainly. Children learn how AI actually works — data, patterns, training, mistakes, bias and limits — through hands-on projects. Some Builder and Studio projects use simple block or Python code, but understanding comes first, so the learning lasts when today's tools change.
How big are the classes?
Small, mentored cohorts of about 12 children per age band, with a named mentor. The founding batch is capped.
When does the programme start?
The founding batch begins on Saturday, 21 November 2026, with weekend sessions. Exact slots are confirmed at enrolment.
What does it cost?
Founding-cohort fees are being finalised. Indicative range: ₹45,000–65,000 for the full 6-month cohort (about ₹7,500–11,000 a month), with a refundable trial window, sibling seats and a few scholarship seats.
What if my child doesn't enjoy it?
There's a refundable trial window at the start of every cohort. See the refund policy for details.
Online or in person?
The core programme runs live online in small cohorts, with periodic in-person AI Lab Days where a venue is available.
The free profile
Is the AI Readiness Profile an IQ test?
No. It's a playful, untimed set of puzzles that shows your child's thinking style — reasoning, patterns, number sense, problem-solving, curiosity and online habits. There's no pass or fail and no ranking against other children.
Do I need to be there?
Yes — a parent gives consent first and stays nearby. For younger children, sitting together for the first few puzzles helps.
What do I get?
A strengths-based thinking-style profile with next steps, a 15-minute call with a mentor, and two optional free trial classes.
Safety & data
What happens to my child's data?
We collect the minimum. Progress in the Learn Zone stays on your device. A parent gives consent before any child's details reach us, we never run ads to children, and we never use children's data to train AI. See our child-data promise.
Do children chat privately with mentors?
No. All messages go through moderated, parent-visible channels.
Is Orvi safe for children?
Orvi follows child-safety instructions, avoids personal questions, warns children not to share personal details and suggests talking to a trusted adult when needed. Like any AI, it can make mistakes, so we teach children to check.
The Learn Zone
Is the Learn Zone free?
Yes. Quizzes, challenges, Snap & Solve, streaks and rewards are free for everyone.
Where is progress saved?
On your device, in your browser. Clearing browser data or switching devices starts fresh. Parents can download or delete it from the Family dashboard.
Does it work on phones and tablets?
Yes — every activity works with touch, mouse and keyboard, on modern Android, iPhone, iPad, Windows, Mac and Chromebook browsers.
Still wondering?
Orvi can answer quick questions, or message the team.
