Privacy notice

Last updated 19 October 2026. Written in plain language โ€” if anything is unclear, just ask us.

Who we are

EduOrvix (โ€œweโ€) runs AI-understanding programmes for children aged 8โ€“16. For questions about privacy, email hello@eduorvix.com.

The website and Learn Zone

Learn Zone progress (streaks, XP, badges, nickname, age band) is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. You can delete it anytime from the Family dashboard or by clearing your browser data.

When Orvi or Snap & Solve uses the online AI tutor, the question (and photo, if any) is sent to our AI provider only to generate the answer. We don't store these questions, and we don't allow them to be used to train AI models.

What we collect from parents

When you book a profile, enquire or enrol: your name, phone or email, your child's age band and, for enrolled students, your child's first name, attendance, project work and reports.

Children's data and consent

We obtain verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before processing a child's personal data, as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules. We do not carry out tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

How we use data

  • To run classes, profiles and reports
  • To contact you about your enquiry or enrolment
  • To keep children safe (safeguarding records)
  • To send The Parent's AI Brief if you subscribe (unsubscribe anytime)

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run EduOrvix (for example video classes, payments, messaging, email and hosting), under written data-processing agreements. We never sell data.

How long we keep it

For as long as your child is enrolled and for a limited period afterwards for legal and safeguarding records. Enquiries that don't lead to enrolment are deleted within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, download or delete your data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Contact us and we'll respond promptly. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Encryption in transit, least-privilege access, staff training and a breach-response plan with notification within the timelines set by the DPDP Rules.

Cookies and analytics

The learning pages use no advertising cookies or trackers. If we add privacy-friendly analytics to public marketing pages, we'll ask for consent first.

This page is a plain-language summary for families and should be reviewed by EduOrvix's legal adviser before the founding batch begins.
