What your child will understand

Models, metrics and limits

Train and evaluate a model; understand accuracy, errors and overfitting.

Responsible AI

Bias audits, privacy, consent and the ethics of AI in society.

Media literacy and deepfakes

How synthetic media is made and how to verify what you see.

Product thinking

Turn a real problem into a careful, safe AI solution.

What they'll make

  • A bias audit of a real dataset
  • A trained and evaluated model with a project write-up
  • A deepfake-spotting guide for younger students
  • A Junior AI Fair capstone and responsible-AI pledge

Projects are kept in a portfolio your child can explain at the dinner table.

Studio FAQs

Will Studio students use real AI tools?

Yes, carefully: tools are chosen for age terms and safety, used under mentor supervision, and never with personal data.

Does this lead to a certificate?

Each student builds a portfolio and presents at the Junior AI Fair. We don't promise ranks, jobs or admissions — we focus on real understanding they can show.

Is there Python?

Some projects use simple Python notebooks, introduced step by step. No prior experience is needed.
