What kinds of questions work best?
Maths sums, fractions, percentages, equations and short science or English questions. One question per photo, in good light, works best.
Does it work without internet?
Yes, for maths. Orvi can read the photo and solve sums, fractions, percentages, square roots and simple equations right on your device. Word problems and other subjects need the online tutor.
Is my photo stored?
No. On-device reading never leaves your phone. When the online tutor is used, the photo is sent only to answer that question and isn't kept by EduOrvix or used to train AI.
Is it cheating?
Not when it's used to understand. Every answer shows the steps and gives a similar question to try alone. Read our guide on AI and homework honesty.
