Children's safety is the first thing we design, not the last thing we add.
🔐 Parent consent first
A parent or guardian gives verifiable consent before we process any child's personal data — in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules.
📉 Minimum data
We collect only what we need to teach. The website's Learn Zone saves progress on your device, not our servers.
🚫 No ads, no tracking
No ads or behavioural tracking in the learning space, and we never target advertising at children.
🤖 Careful AI
Orvi uses child-safety instructions and content filters. Children's data is never used to train AI models.
👀 No private chats
Mentors never message children one-to-one. All messages go through moderated, parent-visible channels.
📸 Photos by consent
No child's face, name or school is shared publicly without written parental consent. Never their location.
The child-data promise
In plain language
- What we collect: parent name and contact details, child's first name or nickname, age band, attendance and project work for enrolled students.
- What we don't: we don't ask children for their full name, address, school or photos to use the website.
- Where it lives: with trusted processors under written agreements. Assessment answers are stored separately from identity where possible.
- How long: only while your child is enrolled, plus a short period for records, then deleted.
- Your rights: see, correct, download or delete your family's data, and withdraw consent at any time.

Safeguarding
How we keep sessions safe
- Mentors are background-checked, trained in safeguarding and observed in their first month.
- Live sessions use waiting rooms; recordings happen only with consent and are kept securely.
- A named safeguarding lead reviews every concern within one working day.
- Children can tap “I need help” in class or tell any adult; parents can report directly to us.
